Vel is a researcher and scientist convinced that the ends always justify the means, ethics be damned. Their nights and as much free time as possible is given to grisly hypotheses and experimentation on unsuspecting victims. Findings from their dogged and relentless research has given way to new and beneficial ways to help people through alchemy which they use to fund their projects. Velaante has a near zealotous drive to unearth Allagan technology and theories, though to what end is as yet unclear. They are driven, impassioned and dangerous. A perfect combination for a mad scientist.

This character is made for dark storytelling and themes. Violence, brutality and corruption are a few examples. If that's not something you're interested in, that's perfectly okay.
